考研英语易混词辨析

     任何外语考试的基础都是词汇，对于复习任务繁重的考研学子来说，词汇掌握不扎实，英语备考就是无本之木。小编今天就分享给大家考研英语易混词的辨析。

     1) intelligent: having, showing intelligence, clever 有才智的，聪明的
　　an intelligent girl 一个聪明的女孩
　　intelligible: clear to mind, that can be easily understood易了解的，易领悟的
　　an intelligible speech/explanation 易懂的演讲/清楚的解释
　　intellectual: possessing a great deal of knowledge 知识的, 智力的
　　intellectualstandards 智力标准
　　

     2) contemptible: deserving contempt 可卑的
　　a contemptible lie 可卑的谎言
　　contemptuous: showing contempt 表示轻视的
　　a contemptuous look 轻蔑的表情
　　

     3) credible: that can be believed 可信的，可靠的
　　a crediblewitness 可信的证据
　　credulous: too ready to believe things 轻易相信的，易上当的
　　He always cheats credulous people. 他经常欺骗那些容易上当的人。
　　creditable: that brings credit. 可称赞的

     4) alternate: changing by turns 轮流的，交替的

　　alternative: giving a choice between two things 选择的，两者选一的

     5) comparable 可比较的，有类似之处的

　　comparative 比较而言的，相当的
　　He lived in comparative comfort recently. 他最近活得比较安逸
　　

     6) politic 精明的、明智的、谨慎的、得当的

     7) beneficial 有益的、有用的、有裨益的
　　A good diet is beneficial to health. 良好的饮食有益于健康。

     8) official 官方的
　　official papers官方文件
　　officious 多管闲事的、指手画脚的、爱发号施令的
　　a nasty officious little man讨厌、好管闲事的家伙
　　

     9) potent 强有力的、烈性的
　　a potent drug猛药
　　a potent force强大的力量
　　potential 潜在的，可能的
　　potentialcustomer潜在的客户
　　

     10) confident 有信心的，自信的
　　feel confident about对……感到自信
　　confidential 机密的
　　confidential information/documents机密情报/文件
