我们知道，强调句是一个非常大的内容要点，而具体到英语四六级考试中的强调句考点，一般是以it为引导词的分裂句It is (was) +被强调部分+ that(who, which) + 句子的其他部分，被强调的部分一般为主语、宾语和状语。那么，关于强调句，考试中究竟是如何考察的呢？赶紧跟随北外网课（北京外国语大学网络课堂）老师，一起来学一学吧。
若强调的是原因状语从句，只能用because引导，不能由since, as或why引导。
It was because he had never had the opportunity that John hadn’t learned todrive.
在这里，就只能使用because，而不能用since或as。
在被强调部分之后，一般用that引出句子的其他部分。但若强调的部分是表示人也可用who；若是指物的名词也可用which。
It was this novel that/which they talked about last night.
It was Jane that/who lent me the money.
此外，表语、谓语动词和由though,although, whereas等引导的从句这三种情况，句子成分不能进行强调。
It is whereas he prefers pop song that I like classical music. （误）
I like classical music whereas he prefers pop songs. （正）
It is although he is young that he can speak four languages. （误）
Althoughhe is young, he can speak four languages. （正）
