英语口语实用秘籍 带你掌握委婉表达法

在英语口语中，很多时候为使对方愉快地接受自己的请求、建议、命令、警告等，往往要用一些常用的委婉表达。今天，北外网课（北京外国语大学网络课堂）老师也对各式各样的英语口语委婉表达法进行了梳理，帮助大家理解记忆。

用“Will you...?”提出请求等

Will you (please)lend me some writing paper?

二、用would开头的句式提出请求

1. Would you(please/kindly)... ?    

Would you kindlydrive me home?

2. Would it bepossible /too much (for me)to...?    

Would it be possiblefor me to take three days off next month?

3. Would you bekind/good enough to /so kind as to...?  

Would you be so kindas to keep me informed?

4. Would you mind(my) doing...?    

Would you mind myturning down the volume of the television?

5. Would you mind ifI ...?    

Would you mind if Iasked you a question?

我可以问你一个问题吗？

shall用于**人称和第三人称，构成疑问句，提出建议或征求对方意见

Shall she come atonce?

用would, should,could, might表示看法、提出建议或忠告等

It would seem thatsomething is wrong with the truck.

You have a slightfever. I could go out to buy you some medicine.

用“Let’s...,OK/shall/shan’twe?”提出建议

Let’s discuss thisproblem at next meeting, OK/ shall we?

用带just/kindly/please的祈使句或“祈使+willyou/won’t you/can you/ could you?” 命令或请求

Get some chalkquickly, will you?

Please give my loveto your parents and Kate, won’t you?

用“Have youthought of/ considered doing...?”

Have you thought of/considered buying a new house?

用“I wonder /I’mwondering/I was wondering if/whether ...”提出请求

I wonder if I couldhave a word with you right now.

用“I’ notsure.../Idoubt...”或“I’m afraid.../I’m sorrry.../If you don’tmind...”等表示怀疑或反对

I doubt if he willkeep his words.

用if/unless引导的条件句提出警告

You’ll be late forthe meeting unless you hurry.

用“If you will do...”从句（will表示意愿）提出请求

If you will excuse mefor a few minutes,

I’ll go and tell themanager that you are

here.

“Hadn’t you better...?”表示劝告
